ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a technology for transmitting digital information
at a high bandwidth on existing Telkom phone lines to homes and businesses. Unlike the traditional dialup service, ADSL provides a continously-available, “always on” connection.

Wireless broadband is a broadband connection to the internet that is accessed via a wireless transceiver (CPE). This is different to 3G or 4G mobile broadband, which uses mobile phone signals. It is a direct connection between your building and the closest wireless highsite – no telephone line or 3rd party required. Speeds are synchronous, making this the closest substitute for fibre, and solving the upload restrictions associated with ADSL lines. Users of Cloud services, Skype Video and other ‘upload intensive’ applications turn to Wireless as their preferred, and affordable connection.
